Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Red Lotus Home LLC, we understand that life happens — and sometimes plans change. We’re committed to handling cancellations and refunds fairly while honoring the time, care, and preparation that goes into each of our retreats.

By booking a retreat through www.redlotushome.com, you agree to the terms of this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. Deposit Policy
All retreat bookings require a non-refundable deposit of $350 USD (unless otherwise stated). This deposit secures your spot and allows us to make reservations on your behalf (accommodation, facilitators, etc.).

2. Balance Payments
Full payment is due 30 days prior to the retreat start date.
If payment is not received by this date, your booking may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.
3. Cancellation by You
If you need to cancel your booking:

More than 30 days before the retreat: You may receive a refund of any amount paid minus the $350 deposit.
15–30 days before the retreat: 50% of the total retreat cost will be refunded.
14 days or less before the retreat: Unfortunately, no refunds can be issued due to last-minute logistics and commitments already made.
4. Transfer Policy
You may request to transfer your booking to a different retreat date or gift it to another person, provided the request is made at least 21 days before the retreat start date.
Transfers are subject to availability and approval.
5. Cancellation by Us
In the rare event that we must cancel a retreat due to insufficient enrollment, natural disasters, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances:

You will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future retreat.
We are not responsible for additional costs such as airfare, visa fees, or other travel expenses — we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
6. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers:

Trip cancellations or interruptions
Medical emergencies
Lost luggage
Natural disasters
This protects both you and us, and gives peace of mind in uncertain times.

7. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days to the original method of payment.
